L went with me to a class tonight I have to take to keep my teaching certification. He really did great. He made his little valentine's for his first Valentine's Day party at school tomorrow. Cute! He had to go potty 2 times, but otherwise he did great, being really careful to whisper and play right on the floor beside me. Good job L!
Anyway, we got home to C saying "It's balemtimes amorrow." Too cute!
We have our trip planned, along with our dining...we're having a character breakfast on Wednesday and visiting the Animal Kingdom that day, too. I'm super excited...no one in the family has ever been.Yay!
Also, I've gotten half of C's 2nd b-day invites printed. I'm aiming to get those printed tomorrow and in the mail Thurs... I still can't believe she's going to be 2! Nothing major...just a purse themed party...cake and ice cream ONLY!
We're headed to my friends in Louisiana on Friday. The mommies can't wait. We know it's a wild trip...long drive, whiny children at times, no time to sit down...until they go to bed!!! Then, we can have our girlfriend time (which, coincidentally, is when we plan our trips without the kiddos!). Having mixed emotions about going all the sudden since hubby's been so sick. Hope he's better...wouldn't want to leave him feeling bad still! He hates to go to bed alone, so going to be alone and sick wouldn't be fair! It's nice to be so loved!!! :)
Here's my to-do list for tomorrow:
- Pick up Harrison to take him to school
- Walk boys in (rather than carpool drop-off, adding 20 minutes) to drop off party stuff and teacher gifts
- Run to Wal-mart to get gifts for trip and laundry detergent and v day gifts for kiddos
- Wrap said gifts
- Find something for hubby
- Best Buy gift card for one of my girlfriend's older child who is staying behind with his grandma b/c the other kiddos are to young for him to enjoy playing with
- Party at L's school at 10:45
- Have lunch with kiddos and hubby at home
- Laundry
- Sign taxes at accountants (Yay!)
- Finish smocking friend's daughter's dress for her gift on our trip
- Make coasters for girlfriends
- Finish printing invitations for Caroline's party
- Schedule movers for office move
- Move things in basement to accomodate new office arrangement
- Post office to mail mom's 50th b-day card (which will be late, as will her gift...but she'll have a great gift waiting on her when next I see her!!)
- Begin packing clothes for trip
- Straighten up around the house
- Take care of sick hubby
