So far, so good

Well, L enjoyed a fantastic week of school. I love, love, love his teachers. He has learned to write the trickiest letter in his name already (poor former Kindergarten teacher Mommy could never get him to write it correctly)! We received a wonderful sheet listing all the wonderful things he's done this week...can you tell I'm excited over this stage in his life? I just love his construction paper masterpieces that have come home, and I have been riveted by all of his 4-year-old preschool tales. (Notice: Pre-school not Pre-K. I'm not into the overly academic curriculum of the state pre-k programs!)

C is getting excited, and I'm praying her transition will go well. I've got 1 1/2 more Scottie dogs to smock on her dress for the first day. I've been having a blast shopping for her for school. (L too, but girls' clothes are so darn cute!) Gotta watch that spending, though.

In other news, I've gotta work on Tues and Wed next week to get ready to meet with the accountant for my job. BUSY for the 6 (combined) hours the kiddos will be in school. I also need to make the appointment with the accountant. (note to self)

My hubby is enjoying a guys weekend at Notre Dame. His Yellow Jackets are taking on the Fighting Irish for the opening game. Oh, man is he excited! I hope he has an absolutely fabulous weekend.

Off to the lake after church on Sunday, so I've gotta get everything in order for the week before bed on Sat. night. Yikes! I lost today in the preparations, too, because I'm babysitting for our little cousin. After dropping off Z at the airport at 9 am, I took all 3 kiddos (4, 2, and 1) to the local library. Then, 2 work errands (getting out of the car at both), and then thru the Chick-fil-A drive through for lunch. Experienced a little of what life would be like with 3 babies. Not too bad, I must admit!

Thinking about joining the local gym to get in shape--not sure if it's worth the money, but I'm sure I'd like to enjoy my sweet tea without feeling the effects in my jeans! We'll see!
